Update and moving!

So i'm obviously not a good blogger, but we've been really busy lately. So here's the latest and greatest..

We moved to Logan in January thinking that we'd be here for two years and signed all these leases for things because well.. we had no plans on moving. SURPRISE! We are moving.. after only 7 months..

What happened was… everything Michael was sure about at Utah State just wasn't happening. I swear thing after thing came up and was making it really difficult for him to go to school here. Michael was also told he could get in state tuition because he stays with his dad on his off track but because we got married his dad didn't claim him on his taxes so we couldn't, and tuition for this fall was 11,000. Which we didn't have. So Michael suggested that we move back to rexburg and I thought it was so dumb and I didn't want to move again..(we moved 3 times in the first two months of marriage and I was over it)

However, when it came down to it, moving to Rexburg was the best option we had finically and in general for us. I realized how the lord does bless us when things need to happen. Within one week from  just thinking about moving, we got Michael re-admitted to BYUI for this fall and the lady told us that was very unlikely. I applied for a job at the hospital in Idaho Falls on a Friday, was called for an interview that next tuesday, interviewed the next Monday and was offered the job on Wednesday and had all the paperwork ready to go by Friday. On Friday, Michael called the security place on campus at BYUI where he previously worked to see if they had a position opening up, and his old boss said the he was god sent.. they have had a position open and haven't been able to find anyone to hire. So within 3 weeks, we decided to move, both had jobs in place, and a lease signed for an apt in Rexburg.

We're excited to see what the future holds back in the burg! We are both excited to quit our current jobs and move on to better things. Here are some pics from the last few months!

We went to Michaels banquet for his security job and we won great prizes! We got to choose and we chose practical.. things on our fathers day list!

We went to a trampoline place and Michael wanted to play crack the egg.. and it did not end well for him.

Michael is still great at making me breakfast in bed :)

I've gotten good at making dinners too!

And smoothies

Michael wanted to practice putting hair up in a pony for when we eventually have kids.. he's getting there

This is my easter basket from a few months ago! Michael did good

We finally broke down and bought a new TV stand, TV and couch. I love it more than I thought it would :)

So I Joined the Blog Crew!

So a lot of my friends have blogs, and I thought I would never get one, but... it seems a lot easier than journaling everything. And we've had some comical things happen and its hard to put a long story on Facebook with pictures, so blogging here I come!

So I guess to start off, We've been married for 3 months... but it feels a lot longer than that most of the time. We get along great most of the time... occasionally we do get annoyed with each other. It's kind of fun learning to figure out how marriage works. I thought everyone's marriage was rainbows and butterflies, but i've learned that most married couple do get in fights and do get annoyed so I kinda feel better about it. We just moved to Logan, Utah a few weeks ago so Michael can finish going to school at Utah State. He's working at five-guys and at the campus security dispatch and i'm working at Logan Home Health and hopefully soon at the hospital in Logan. I'm almost done with my bachelors from BYU-I, i'm just finishing up the last bit of classes online. I can't wait to be done!!

Something i've learned since being married is I love cooking dinner. I'm sure that will change after months and months of doing it, but right now I really enjoy it. My parents always wanted me to learn to cook at home before I left for college, but I really like the whole calling them right before I make it to get instructions method, or calling them while at the store to know what to get method. It works great, and i'm sure they love it.

Heres some pics from our wedding and since we've been married :)

This was breakfast Michael made me the first day back to the burg after being married

Fun Story: Michael was tickling my feet and I accidentally kneed him in the face and chipped his tooth... The next morning he was trying poking me, and trying to pick my nose and other annoying things to get on my nerves, and I attempted to block him and knocked the cereal all over him... which I thought was just as good. We no longer do things like this at the breakfast table ;)

Date night to Hunger Games

Michael made dinner and got me roses for our 1 month.. It was so so so sweet and I wasn't expecting it at all. Just had it all set up while I was at work.

Our friend Koryn had a Christmas party and her little girl decided to join our family pic at the photo booth.
